Viral Video

For this exercise, we were asked to create and publish something that would go viral.

Before beginning, I did some research into factors which affect virility. Jonah Berger’s book ‘Contagious’ tackles exactly that.

As a class, we took the decision to work on this viral project as a group. . . since we’re slightly constrained with time.

After a tedious and sickening hour or so listening to Chiara’s ‘My Zarbun’, we taught we could do a parady music video. Sooner, better than later, we realized it would be too much work in such a short span of time.

Instead, we decided to do a spoof of Southern Comforts advert ‘Come to Malta’.

This exercise was a definite viral success, reaching 8,000 views in 2 days đŸ™‚
